hello! today is one of those days that i really don't have fascinating things to report, but am writing for the sake of it anyhow. we have spent a large portion of our day off in bed today, cause it's way too hot to do anything else. our air conditioner isn't working so well, so even inside it's about 88 degrees. blah to that. they were supposed to ( Read more... )

Fahrenheit 9/11 was the best documentary by him so far, in my opinion. I have been a fan since his "Roger and Me" days, even happy to see he directed a video for Rage Against The Machine back before 3/4 of the band decided they really just wanted to make money. (I can't vouch for this as a reasonable attack, for all I know they spend every penny on insuring newborn babies have a chance) but anyhoo, Michael Moore has also attacked Democrats publicly, citing them as "an even worse excuse for a government party than the Republicans". I suggest that anyone who is willing to listen to what you might say next time, mention MichaelMoore.com and ask them to log on and check it out. What I appreciate is his ability to link you directly to other sites that would argue against his perceptions and then re-direct with the way many people stretch his words as lies becaus of thier blind aliegance to a side.

Sorry about the MM rant. The same thing happens to me when religion comes up. Immediate, involuntary, runnin of the mouth.

LOVE

thanks sir! i like ranting. it makes me happy. unless of course you rant by quoting good ol' rush verbatim as if it is the gospel.
really..i can see michael moore's point on the democrats, because the repubs don't even claim to be all about the "little people", but the dems pretend they are working for us, when really they are working for the same guys as the other side. but i think liberals, greens, dems, whatevers should all rally round mr. moore since he is all for getting bush out of office!

politics are a definite no-no subject with my husbands family cause they are the exact same way! it is definitely scary...it seems noone ever actually researches what they say, just accept it as truth. i bet limbaugh could announce on his show that the sky was falling, and every conservative would be digging underground tunnels right away!

i think a lot of "liberals" aren't as liberal as they say they are. there are liberals and there are liberal extremists, and i think moore is an extremist. just like limbaugh is an extremist for conservatives. and truthfully, i believe that only extremist conservatives really enjoy what he has to say.

perhaps my view of conservatives is distorted from living in texas...i don't even know any conservatives of the moderate variety. although you live here too..i don't know. maybe the hardcores are the only ones who take to screaming rush limbaugh at me randomly when i'm having a discussion with them.
