hey ms. kelly. i just wanted to make my presence known. i have arrived! i am so excited about your impending visit here. we will have a great time. i absolutely love giving the twin cities "tour". granted, 98% of my current tour consists of watering holes, but i'll modify for your visit. i'm also excited to talk to you about books and music. i read in some of your earlier posts that you're into ani difranco (my favorite!) and that you read the blind assassin. i love margaret atwood, but my favorite is cat's eye. if you have not yet read it, you must check it out. maybe i'll re-read it simultaneously and we can have a little book club type discussion of it over the tele. let me know what you think. talk to you soon. until then, much love.

whoo hoo! i'm glad you got a journal, maam. i will be happy to know what's going on wit you, and get to know ya better through it.
i haven't read cat's eye yet, so far i've read the handmaid's tale, blind assassin, the robber bride, and good bones and simple murders. i will be sure to start that one next, as it's about time for another break from the non-fiction! also good to know that you are an ani fan, i look forward to driving around rocking out with you!
