It was supposed to be warmer today, which is why I put the rolls of cookie dough out in the mud-room to 'refrigerate' for a couple hours. I didn't realize that the high was going to be 0°F rather than 18-23°F. Ooops? No big deal - we have a pretty mean serrated knife that was able to plow through the frozen cherries & chocolate bits

I am so glad to hear that your Dad is better! And I used to love it when they would say, today is going to be warmer... at zero degrees! Eat an extra cookie for warmth :) Sounds like you guys are enjoying the extra space in the house!

Those "double dark chocolate cherry cookies" sound like something Jesse would like. I may have to get the recipe from you before Christmas of next year. (Unless it's one of those closely guarded top-secret family recipes.)
