I'm doing okay. I'm at work right now. I recently switched to a part-time position, so on Mondays and Wednesdays I am now looking for Other Freelance Work to keep me gainfully occupied for the full week. But first I have to update my resume...
Well, freelance is more fun anyway. I completely sympathize with your job-hunting--I myself am attempting to fill my three free days with more work, but no one wants to hire an employee for only two months. Bugger.
And while I did not sympathize with the gamer nerds, not being so big a proponent of the Wii, I did chuckle uproariously at their predicament.
An uproarious chuckle is a curious thing, by the way. You'd think it would be restrained, but it's a little to snorfle-y to pass as something subtle.
Iiii am doing well enough. Excited for wedding, but stressed over wedding also. Just lots to do, really. It's like stage managing for the real world, this planning stuff. But I get to see YOU there, so it makes it all worthwhile. That, and the whole getting-married-to-my-best-friend thing. And ALASKA. Yaaaay.
Your job sounds really cool. I've always wanted to ride horses and just never have. So one day I shall have to visit so you can teach me.
Alsoooo I microwaved s'mores the other night and it rather made me think of you
Eeee! I watched Scrubs the other night and thought of you. You are indelibly my Scrubs-buddy, and I don't care who ya get married to or where in Alaska ye's are, kissin' moose and trackin' husbands across squishy tundra and such!
Or something to that effect.
I don't think I've told you recently how very happy I am for you that you've got this awesome life partner who you've been fortunate to find so early that you get an early start on the whole better-or-worse deal. I think it's wonderful, and that you're wonderful, and B's pretty wonderful too, so geez, put all that wonderful together? And the world is just a more beautiful place.
Needless to say, I'm REALLY looking forward to being at your wedding, and hope the planning doesn't stress you too much!
