If a few less execs were taking the stuff, maybe someone would pay attention to problems and fix them before a crisis arises? It's like an entire strata of society is walking around on the stuff saying, "What? Me worry?"

The diagnosis of depression is around 50 percent of the population. Ridiculous to think that much pathology exists so it has to be a 'stimulus package' for drug companies. The people who really are depressed are being deprived of counseling because it can't be reimbursed at a decent rate - too many would need it. So drugs replace counseling and are over-prescribed to boot.
