When a portrait is so bad it's kinder to call it a caricature...
I promised rain_sleet_snow ages ago that I would try a portrait of Sarah for Sarah week on Primeval_Denial but she just isn't happening so, you know what, I'm calling it a caricature because that excuses all the odd face angles and such *nods*. Meant to do it. Totally deliberate. *whistles* Not to mention the camera not capturing the colours again...
Personal stuff (feel free to ignore) and excuses for my complete absence from LJ and art posting and the like. I have other art to post (will get to it this weekend, hopefully) because I have still been going to the art club nearly every week - I had to cling to something positive because, as some of you already know, my mum was very poorly and sadly died a week past Friday. I was with her, holding her hand.There's only me left so I have been busy sorting out all paperwork and funeral and stuff. I suspect I will post some ranty nonsense late some night on here, but sitting in my vaguely sunny kitchen (ah, the joys of summer in Scotland) this afternoon I have no desire to dwell. Spending too much time upset lately so I am savouring a moment of sanity, posting Primeval silliness, and clinging to normality. As I said to rain_sleet_snow I do have a heck of a good excuse for not posting stuff! Makes a change, eh.
