Oh I can see how that would be hard. But it's also compliment that your mom asked you to do it.

*hugs* We miss you already.

Yea - its defenatly a complement - but i had to give myself a day or so before i called to talk to her - all very practical like - about it. thought when she sent me to the link of the site where she ordered the caskets - and which one - I did have to inform her that it looked a bit like draculas. seriously - it did! aparenly that perticular style is 'old european'

hope your having lots of fun on the photo workshop. I miss you guys to! I dont get nearly enough texts here :p

*hugs to all*

Yeah that's a little... morbid. I'd definitely be weirded out by that.

It's an excuse to get your parents to have a wild living wake party though :p

It's just so typically..... Irish, y'now.

i hadent thought if that - but yes...it realy is.

I hadent thought of claddagh rings....i was thinking more a Celtic cross with words in the cyrcle part - i asked mom to have my aunts check the translation i did of one quote, and mabe to translate a few others.

Since i was asking her specifics (size, file format etc) she called them and got the email of the engraver and sent it to me and told me to contact him and design it.
the pragmatic acceptance of death as part of life. yes - very irish.
