I saw something very cute on a theory paper I just graded. One of the Japanese students in class - in place of the word "modulation" - wrote "moduration". It reminded me of the days when I had a Korean organ teacher, and she would pronounce my name "Lohss" (ryhmes with the adjective "close").

yeah, they have problems with pronouncing the L... sounds like an R to them.

Reminds me of you and Lisa/Risa. haha. You'd call her Risa and she'd call you Loss. Risa means laughter in Spanish, btw.
