I personally am not a big fan of O2Jam. Everyone on there is a cocksucker [just like Gunbound] and I for the most part the songs suck. I just ask myself, why play bastardized IIDX when I can play the real thing? For people that can't, I guess this is an okay alternative but I'd rather play gameboy roms than this.

I'll respond to each comment individually, and to the best of my knowledge (given that I've only been playing for 2 days).

Yes, nearly everyone on Gunbound is a cocksucker. I completely agree with that. And yes, there are assholes on O2Jam, but I've found most of the people at least to be agreeable. In fact, I just had a ton of fun playing a couple 4v4 team battles with this guy named Excalibur82 who kept getting almost the exact same scores as me.

the songs suck.
The songs are not necessarily as good as IIDX. But! We're talking about a free game which is not made by a company making millions of dollars a year and has the money for such professional music. Actually, I have found a lot of the music to be very catchy, and the techno remixes to classical music (and, to a lesser extent, christmas music) are quite quality.

Well, during my experience [I played for a little over a month around.. December, maybe?] all the people sucked, but it might be better now.

I do understand your point with the fact that the game is free, but free or not it doesn't really stop me from disliking the majority of the songs. I give them a pat on the back for trying, though.

Yes, Daniel does have the Jps2 but he brings it back during breaks and that's better than playing this shit every day. And yes, I realize these roms are beatmania with horrible quality. That's how much I'm knocking O2Jam. ^_^

Plus, I thought you knew I hate PIU. :D Let's put it this way: both are Korean ripoffs of really good things, which I am not a fan of. I'm glad you can enjoy them, but they just don't rub me the right way.

Well, for all of us who don't have hundreds of dollars with which to buy a Japanese PS2, a $100 controller, and important some expensive games, this FREE alternative is not too bad =P
