Ringing in the New Year was fun. I feel a bit off in my routine over the last few weeks, between time off, work-from-home days because of the snow, and this being my first full week of work in what feels like ages. My hair is growing longer (and my sideburns are nuts right now...which i'm thankful for a haircut scheduled tomorrow

We've finally had a couple of days of sun here in DC; I'm not sure if I could stand the dark clouds and rain all winter either. Though I loved Seattle when I was there!

Maybe we should move to some island paradise in the southwest Pacific and run a bar. :)

that's one of my dream ideas. i'm all for it. I'd love to have more than one residence, one in seattle for summers, maybe new england for fall and somewhere warm for winters :)
