So.... Halloween, right. It's only my favorite holiday of all time. So I thought it was about time that I got a REAL costume.

Enter fangirling ebay/online shopping spree of DOOM!!!

Hi from a fellow HP/Ravenclaw nerd who stumbled on your post!

Depending on how much you're willing to spend on the skirt, some of the better known "preppy" stores (GAP and such) would probably have one similar to what you're looking for. Also, you might want to try combing through clothing resale places, particularly if you're average sized or smaller.

Oh. And it's nice to see someone else who's cheesed that the movie changed stuff. The raven is NOT the Ravenclaw animal, thankyouverymuch. ^_^

That's really cool you're going in your Ravenclaw outfit (OMG I love the wand too). I'm going as this really scary cloaked guy. I got one of those voice changer things that make me sound like an alien. I adore it.

thanks! This was a last minute thing, the people at work were all "but you HAVE to dress up" like i'd get fired or something if i didn't. I loled and then spent a boat-load of money. but i reasoned that I'll still get some use out of the get up for the next two movies and the encyclopedia release.

I found a really cool skirt on the American Eagle website that I plan to wear the next time I dress up as a student, it's Navy blue though, and your sweater is gray, hmm..
