My venture into the world of professional poker has lasted almost a year now, and it's time to reassess. Overall things went very very badly for me. When I first moved to California, I was pretty excited about poker. I had a job for six months and played a ton at the Bike and the Commerce. The real question is why. It's possible that you may not be smart or perceptive enough. It's possible that you aren't emotionally even enough and tilt off when you start losing. And then it's possible that you worry too much about the money if you're not working at the same time. Have you thought about going downlimit, to try and improve game selection? Well I have one question for you. If you don’t have the desire to play any more, why would it matter if you are a winning player or not. Poker gets really miserable when you NEED to play and don’t LOVE to play. I would say hand up the hat, sweat shirt and sun glasses and take a long break. I took a year off (not a single hand of online or live poker) and when I came back all the fire was back in me.

On a side note, I would love to swap links with you. Let me know if you do that kind of thing.
