I finally caved in and created a Dreamwidth account. I very highly doubt that I'll use it for posting, just for commenting on a few journals. In case anyone wants to add me over there, I'm rosy5000 there too.

There's just been more and more people cross-posting to LJ and DW and want their comments on DW, so I figured it makes it easier than trying to use openid all the time. :P

Luckily I only have two people on my list that will now only accept comments on DW, but yeah, I feel ya. ;) I just need to add more icons over there for when I reply to them. ;)

Right now, there is one person that's doing that, but it's someone that I always read their stories and love her comments back. There have been a few times right after DW started that I did use the OpenID there and didn't like that. soo..

I don't know if I feel like uploading icons over there or not. Haven't decided anything about it yet. lol

What is DW? Is it like LJ? I keep hearing about it but don't know what it's all about. You need to be invited, right?

Yeah, it's pretty much like LJ from what I can see. I haven't done much more than just create the account so far.

You can only create an account by paying for it or by using a free invite code which a lot of people have been posting. I noticed they have a place where people share their codes on DW itself too.

I doubt I'll be posting, but a few people I talk to on LJ have gone to posting on DW and cross-posting on LJ but only wanting comments on DW. I hate using the OpenID so I figured what the heck. lol I'm still happy here and at InsaneJournal for the most part though. :)
