Practicing cake decorating.

We had a cookout out my brother's today and my contribution was a Pina Colada cake.  Been a LOOOOONNNGGG time since I made a cake from scratch, and made icing from scratch too.  Was a lot of fun, but took most of the day to bake and decorate.  This was my first attempt at making roses, which turned out ok, but not great.  Had fun trying different

I always had fun baking, but mostly stuck with cookies, cakes is something a bit new. But I'm having so much fun. :)

If I could find a way to mail you roses so they wouldn't get smushed, I totally would! ♥

I had a lot of fun decorating it. It really did turn out yummy. I'm definitely keeping the recipe to make again. :)
