I saw this last night on the show and then had to watch it again today online! So cool! And I agree that it's things like this that make me love Jimmy and the show so much. In a world where there's lots of somber/negative news, Jimmy provides genuine fun and entertainment. And he seems to genuinely enjoy himself! Plus, I love the Roots! :) ♥
I saw that he was doing this on Twitter yesterday and couldn't wait to actually see it. Then I've watched it a few more times today. :D
I was never a fan of Jimmy when he was on SNL, but he won me over when he took over Late Night. I was so happy when he was announced to take over The Tonight Show. He keeps things fun and how he can convince some of these actors to do the things they do! But you can definitely see they all have fun. I think Jimmy & Higgins have the best host/announcer relationship too. I do love the Roots too, but mostly James. :D
When I was watching it last night with my mom, I told her that I'm sure anyone who's a fan has "sung" along with those songs at least a few times. For those guys to do it being part of the movie, I can only imagine how it feels. It was so awesome to watch. :D
Of course, I was watching patiently to see if Harrison was going to be part of it. lol I may have squeed out loud when he popped up. ♥
