Good to hear how you’re getting on. Why is it unlikely that you’ll get the PhD? Would programming be the end of the world? It pays ok (I believe), it is pretty skilled, there’s always a demand for it and the hours are good, so you’d have plenty of time for more fun things like MUGSS and hockey, plus unlike being a student, your spare time would be your own.
You cycle moseley road then up curry mile...? Just go BIrchfields Road with its fabby cycle lane, then turn off at Victoria park if you want to go to near the main library. For north campus just keep on
If you don't want to get the PhD any longer, that's one thing, and fair enough. If you still want to see it through, the uni will probably support that. It's in their interest. They don't like to see failure on their records.
Dreams... I've started getting the same dream several times a night now, I hate it.
Ah yes, I missed the turning onto Moseley Rd (and from there to Upper Brook St), but decided to carry on and get onto North campus down the road. But it didn't go exactly according to plan...
