Things to do in New Ashford
This is IC information that can easily be found out from exploring New Ashford and/or talking to its native residents.

1. Get a place to live. [ Residence List]
2.Visit Old Gray Tavern on Fridays for a free hamburger.
3. Get a drink (or two) at Old Gray any ol' time.
4. Request to go on a supply run (high chance of death!)
5. Fight zombies!
6. Explore outside New Ashford. [ Mod Box] (So you know what's going to happen when you do!)
7. Hang out with Zudd and Buxell. (Just post a thread of visiting their small house by the Church or a post on LaLee directed at them)
8. Have fun at Dicky's Disco. Open 10am until zombies. (Dancing, karaoke, TV, movies, party rooms)
9. Help around town! (you can either assume your character is picking up one of these jobs or else hit up the Mod Box if you want details!)
- Babysitting
- "Field" work (literally in the fields, weeding, tending the plants, etc.)
- Scavenging (death possible but not necessary)
- Farm work (dealing with animals and their silliness and oftentimes their food and poo!)
- Old people (visit the elderly of New Ashford in Pine Meadow)
- Fixing armor and weapons
- Preparing rations / making meals
- First aid in St. Rosemary's
- Cleaning and repair of buildings.
- (numerous other chores, feel free to suggest some and play them out!)

Player Plots
Having trouble coming up with a personal plot for your character? Here's some general ones that you can feel free to request anytime! [ Plot Box]

Power Surge: A character's powers (magical, mental, superpowers, etc.) or technology experience an incredible surge due to a random imbalance caused by the meddling of the Dromos Cult in the world's natural energies and fields. Chaos of your choice ensues.

Organizing an attack: The character gets other player characters and NPCs to attack a Dromos outpost or town with intent to cause damage. This differs from normal supply runs of Living/Free that are usually ignored by the Dromos. If significant damage is caused by the Living forces the Dromos most certainly will respond with retribution by attacking New Ashford.

Something From Home: Something from the character's home is drawn to the character through a weakness in the gates and fueled by the character's intense desire for home or the specific object/creature/thing. The object will be accompanied by a monster/enemy/aggressive creature from the character's world as well - balancing the positive appearance of the object with something negative.

Character Run Businesses: Are allowed and encouraged! However, there is no currency in New Ashford as it is run commune style - with general needs such as food, shelter, and clothing being provided by a common store and uncommon commodities being shared willingly or traded. If a character offers goods or services they might be asked to give them for free for the sake of the community or else will be traded for them by the NPCs and player characters in the city.

PARTIES!: For any reason, celebrating any festivals, birthdays, deathdays, holidays. The native citizens of New Ashford are always up for any reason to celebrate. Dicky's is the usual place for such events but the Park can also be used if more room is needed.
