Just as I said last night before collapsing into a deep sleep, going to NYC and watching a Yankees/Red Sox game and then going to the fireworks show that night is an excellent way to spend the 4th of July. You went to NYC alone? You're a braver person than I will ever be! Not the fact of the possibility of being mugged or worse, but, getting lost!

Your Vans sound like my Rocket Dogs....they are good for shopping and looking cute, but, WALKING....HELLLL NOOOO.

It wasn't that bad. I managed to get to manahattan before getting lost and never left the island. Most of my time spent being lost was around the more crowded spots, plus there was a ton of people around because of the holiday so I never felt like I was in a bad spot.
