I used to like Padme, but that changed with Ep3 ... she used to be such a strong and independent character, not the whiny, running after a guy type of woman. But yeah, with Ep3 she went from being cool to cliche female. :(

I used to and still like Padme. She was a very strong character in EP2, but EP3 she was pregnant, and she couldn't go out and fight a war alongside her Jedi husband. I don't want to start and argument, that's just my opinion. :)
