Philip is one of the best photographers around, his style is something very recognizable and he is still being sued by SG for taking pictures of his wife for her own single girl website. Which in no way broke his contract with SG ( Read more... )

That's proof of just how full of it SG is. Don't they make their girls PAY to be on their site? Or at least that's what I've heard.

No they pay the models 503 I think per set they accept.
But it could take them anywhere from a month to a year to accept your set.

If it's in the 500's, then they raised what they pay. I know before it used to be like 300 or some lame number.

And wtf, I didn't realize this was STILL going on.

They did raise it about 2 years ago from 300 to now 500, 2 of my friends are SG's and they do it for the money.

Carter & Dorsal I've known them for ages.
Carter is one of the models I shoot all the time, I'm slightly pissed off because she has one of my pictures up on her profile but at the same time it gets my name out there more.

His trial with them starts next month too.

So do I my friend, so do I. I have been trying for the past year to get LAweekly to write an article about it all. But I think they won't cause SG is right down the street from them.
