The scenes from the Fair Trade Community Cafe are amazing - and bizarre! Sounds like the east coast treated you well :)

Yeah... It's an amazing place! A real gathering spot for those folks. It bears noting that they have a rainbow flag sticker on their door (in a fairly conservative small town).

Oh yeah, I'm familiar with Truro (the armpit of the Maritimes!)... I went Mt. Allison for undergrad. My last year, the profs went on strike for several weeks, forcing us students to go on many a road trip around NB, NS, and PEI (and some further - first one to Montreal and back, wins!).

... Which is why I was so pleased to see this funky crowd in Truro, of all places.
