peanut-free peanut butter cookies

I love peanut butter cookies, but I don't make them that often because some of my friends are allergic to peanuts. And what fun are cookies without friends? These could also be good for peanut-free schools I guess

Did you not find it a total pain shelling all the pumpkin seeds? Can you get un-shelled pumpkin seeds? I only ever get pumpkin seeds from the Halloween pumpkin, so I wouldn't know where to get them not in October?

It is a total pain! But you can get them in bulk stores - they're sometimes called pepitas. Saves a lot of trouble.
