So... Unlike any other journal I've ever had, not only did I not find a really funky or at least pretty layout to use, but I haven't given anyone the rundown on my childhood or life before now. Which I suppose is because I'm pretty well over it. For the most part I try not to let that sort of thing effect me anymore. I have spent way too much time

oh you poor, sweet thing :( you and i have come from very different backgrounds; but the one thing in common is that we've had to fight every step of the way to just have a sense of stability and normalcy

The boyfriend and I just moved -back- into my moms house. We don't plan on staying longer then we have to. But as he wasn't working until this week and next weeks new job (a perminent position.) The downfall of said situation is that it would be more difficult for me during the day to be all alone with the baby. I don't do well ALONE

I'm still very co dependant with my mom, too, but now I interact with her on a friend basis only. She knows not to mother me, and I don't mother her either. I'm really sorry you're going through all this, and right after you had a baby. I REALLY hope your mom doesn't relapse. I can relate with the issues I had with Ryan, my baby's dad. Total crack head and I took care of him and basically enabled him for 3 years. It's so hard. I'm sure you'll do a great job, though, of taking care of your baby and yourself. That's all you need. You're strong enough to do this!:)

I am capible of being...not codependant on my mom and just be friends with her, when we don't live togather. I have no problem with her mothering me or otherwise anymore. Because she doesn't treat me as badly as I used to get treated. And she's not as angry and mean as she used to be. Not to mention my sister is usually her target lately
