Anxiety attacks suck ass. I've had one like that first semester of last year. Similar situation, too...only it was a theater class and I had done the assignment wrong and we were supposed to discuss it with the rest of the class.
That kind of thing should be voluntary. I mean, there are people who are comfortable with public speaking, there are people who are okay with public speaking, and there are people with anxiety disorders.
