Thanks! lol I actually said the same thing last month to a friend of mine when I learned that she was going to Taiwan. I was like **Ahh jealous** and then I went. lol I hope you get to go one day too. (^_-)

damn, now I want to visit Taiwan, too. You don't hear a lot about tourism there, weird b/c it looks like such a cool place, a nice mix of cultural stuff & the modern. From the pictures, kind of gives the same vibe as s.korea =). lol @ poor Icarus, how ironic xD

Yeah there are a lot of cool places that don't really pull in that many tourists. Most of the tourists in Taiwan were Japanese. Maybe one day it will. Taipei was interesting. There were cool places to shop and nice things to see. If the weather is nice, there are also tons of hiking and bike trails that I didn't do. Although I like both, I actually like Seoul more than Taipei. I went there for my birthday last year and I want to go again before I go back home to the States this year.
Icarus- lol. Icarus was his English name. The airline was from Hong Kong, so some of the flight attendants on their tags had their Chinese name and their English name. I don't know how their English name is chosen, but it was funny that he chose Icarus as his English name.
