I hate it when friends say things that aren't in the least bit supposed to upset you. Yet they play on your insecurities for whatever reasons (perhaps you were just feeling fragile this morning) and you end up desperately needing hugs. But can't ask your friend for them cos you're too ashamed to admit that what they said upset you so much.
