All celebrations near Montreal will probably need some canoes or something because it's been raining quite a bit in the last few days. I'll probably celebrate by watching some Kids in the Hall DVDs

Btw, the only episode of News Radio that I can remember is called "French Diplomacy". You can watch it on Youtube. Phil Hartman is fantastic in it. Trust me watch it and you'll see.

OMG yes, I do remember this one. Newsradio is one of my all-time favorite shows. This is the one where Hartman's character suggests for people to beat up a politician, right? He was hilarious in that.

Yeah, he has an editorial and the first thing he says is that foreign diplomats who don't have to pay their parking tickets should be pulled from their cars and beaten. So someone pulls the French ambassador to the UN out of his car and beats him.

He has to then read an apology (which he writes himself) and in it he says that diplomats should not be beaten, the only person that should be attacked is "Joe Vigilante".

The next scene you see him talking to his boss and saying "How was I supposed to know that there is someone called Joe Vigilante."

For the next apology his producer writes it and gives him to read and it says something that "we should all stop listening to the radio and start listening to our hearts."

And if you didn't think things could get worse they do, when later the news comes out that a patient at a mental institute has committed suicide because he was trying to listen to his heart.......

I miss Phil Hartman. :(

Phil Hartman was so talented. I cannot forget his character on Newsradio making fake interviews with Bill Clinton and saying the most hair pulling things. If you don't remember it, you have to watch it on Youtube!

I just read the news about Roloson. O_O Wow. I'm so sorry! It's a huge loss.

On my side of the ice rink, the Habs signed Scott Gomez, and I think we're on the eve of saying bye bye to our beloved captain.... :(

Lol, I do remember that. I think one of my favourites was the one with the snack machine, and Bill's love of those preserved sandwiches. That always cracks me up!

I just heard Montreal got Cammallari, so you added a scorer and some defence with Spacek and Gill. I think Koivu will end up with his brother in Minnesota. I'm extremely happy with the Oil signing Khabibulin, I can't believe we got him for under 4 million...still waiting on Heatley's decision...he's not making any friends with his behaviour.

Oh yes, the sandwiches! *g* That show managed to be consistently funny week after week.

I remember cursing at Cammalleri every time he played against the Habs, so I believe this is a good thing he's with us now, hee. I'm crushed that Komisarek is leaving. He's an awesome hockey player. And he's going to play for Toronto! My gosh, I'm not sure I can deal with this. I'm genetically programmed to boo at every player that plays on this team. :/

Khabibulin is quite a catch - he had an awesome season last year. And Heatley...the drama is off the roof. It's been quite a rollercoaster day for Oilers' fans...

Oh noes! Did you delete your entry from yesterday? I was trying to come up with a coherent response to all the smart-making but by the end of the day yesterday my brain was just a big pile of fnnngh so I was going to wait until today and now it is gone. :(
