Ah, spring.

It's been a busy day.

You know, an regular April-almost-May day where it snows all day. I just came back from a walk with my winter boots and my tuque and my mittens, and all the flowers and magnolia trees have their little snow bonnets.

You got to love spring in Montreal.

Amd I am this close to sign up for the big bang. Because I could write 10, ( Read more... )

LOL! I was just about to comment with a little persuasion. Instead I'll say "yay!" and offer encouragement. I'll definitely want to be on your Big Bang filter. We're in this together!!

It's so odd to think of it snowing elsewhere. Tomorrow is supposed to be very warm and then we're having a cold front which will only get down to about 70 degrees. ;)

Hee! There is a story I wanted to take forward for months now, so this is the perfect timing to do it. I'm happy to add you to the filter - you're going to be my inspiration, Ms I-Won-NaNo-Two-Years-In-A-Row! :D

It is odd - I was wearing my sandals last Sunday, had to take out my winter boots today, and will be probably take out the sandals again next Sunday.

Haha, cold front. ;)

I'm glad you have an idea. I look forward to seeing it. :)

Well it is nearly a 20 degree drop in temperature. So technically...

I do have an idea, and I already have 5,000 words down. I need to find a way to incorporate a storyline!

I was teasing you. :) Twenty degrees is huge! It must be nice to feel some relief after very warm days! That was the difference between Sunday and yesterday for us up here, too.

I would love to hear how you're progressing with this. The longest thing I've ever written was 9,000 words, so this will be a challenge for me! I'm just excited about getting to use one of those word count meters :D

I was in Calgary over the weekend, where we just happened to run into a bit of a blizzard. From Calgary to Red Deer, which is a 60-75 minute drive, we went from complete white out conditions, to sleet, rain, drizzle, and finally, cloudy skies.

By the time we got back to Edmonton (2.5 hours from Calgary), it was sunny! We have a saying 'round these parts... "If you don't like the weather, wait an hour." :)

I will add you to the filter. :) I'm really excited that so many people I know are getting involved into this big bang - it's going to be quite a group experience. Those word count gadgets do stimulate and add a bit of good stress, I think.

A blizzard! You never really expect these until you drive into it.

I love that saying!
