I have been away and back again to LJ. I'd be thrilled to rekindle with you if we're old acquaintances, as much as I would be happy to meet new people.  I feel rather awkward with friending and the politics of it.

I usually lock my personal entries. I'm rather boring, though. :)

I'm concerned about this weird username. Does it still appear on your flist? If so, I'll work that out. I had to open another journal to reclaim my beloved rougered LJ.

I had the ex_rougered_whatever on my profile page, too - I'd kept you there even after your journal had been purged in the hope you might come back someday, and that weird name was what enabled me to find you. :-) Anyway, I think it's just something in the coding that happens when a purged journal is re-born, so to speak. Since there was no longer a rougered, they had to put something in its place.

Ah...it does make sense. I understand how it also has to do with LJ having me creating a new LJ to 'reclaim' the rougered one.
