I've been hanging out with some amazing people. Such as Teo, and Micket. I've been learning a lot from them. They're both very profound, and they seem to grasp the very thing I yearn for. Honestly, I'm honored to be in their presence, as they are in mine. My school life isn't good as usual, but what can I say, I've never been a school person. The ( Read more... )

Actually I did take a philosophy class, but everything I stated above was taught to me all by my life not by the class, that I still do not attend. I haven't read voltaire, but socretes plato and aristotle seem to be perfect for me, plus, the readers that you like are usually very dark and pessemistic.

yes! that's the one. you know sadly he likes me and i really just don't like him. I don't know how else to tell him and I can't just stop talking to him so I'm stuck and it isn't the most pleasurable experience let me tell you :(

you've never read a single book that I love, or a book by a writer that I love, because you don't have the attention span for it.
and the three are the first philosophers you learn when you take intro to philosophy/
ok great socrates, plato and aristotle, now get away from that
and explore really.
you fancy the idea of a world of forms.
the fact that there need be stupid people who do the mundane and then the artists who shouldn't have to do any of that?
I mean seriously
I don't know.
goodday

well, did you or did you not give me a few books of yours, and also request of me to read the book "i never promised you a rose garden". So, wrong assumption buddy. but i see what you mean, i've just recently gotten into the habit of reading philosophy books so of course i have to start from the fathers of philosophy.
