Caribou Barbie
Get off my ice, vapid cooz
Whore your lies elsewhere

This is Philly, bitch
The town that snowballed Santa
Think we won't get you?

Here me now, comrades
Of the orange, white and black
Bring rotten eggs. Lots.

*For those of you confused by this death haiku, I was just informed last night by bittercrow that America's most famous ( Read more... )

It's quite possible that this is all part of some clever McCain strategy to eliminate an obviously unresearched choice in running mates. Think of the support and sympathy he would gain when she is severely injured during a politically charged hockey brawl (now there's a phrase you don't see every day) and forced to withdrawl from the campaign only to be replaced by someone more competent if somewhat less coverage worthy. Hmmm... For the greater good.

Wow, man. That was just an unimpeded outpouring of bile.

And deservedly so. If there's the time, maybe these projectiles need a launcher constructed for them to knock out a few of her Barbie teeth.

Yay! I'm always glad to hear that my friends are intelligent enough to realize how grossly unqualified she is and how horrible it'd be with her at the helm. **shudders**

What books did she try to have banned? I missed that.

A woman named Anne Kilkenny, a resident of Wasilla before, during and after Palin's reign there, wrote an open letter that can easily be found online these days. Among the many things she points out there about how Palin does business once she gets a little power under her belt, here's the relevant quote:

"While Sarah was Mayor of Wasilla she tried to fire our highly respected City Librarian because the Librarian refused to consider removing from the library some books that Sarah wanted removed. City residents rallied to the defense of the City Librarian and against Palin’s attempt at out-and-out censorship, so Palin backed down and withdrew her termination letter. People who fought her attempt to oust the Librarian are on her enemies list to this day."

And further to my haiku, I am proud to say that Philadelphia Flyers fans did not let me down. Please go online and listen to the reception they gave Palin. I love this city.
