Without You - Murasaki Photostory

I decided to try a short photostory for Murasaki a few weeks ago. Frankly, as much as I love photography I suck at it. I have no natural knack for it. I feel the pictures do no really expres the story well, could just be me. I'll blame it on lack of practice. But Kitty wanted me to post them anyway, so here it is.

Well, it's a technicallity. I want to get a Ka'leth, but much like Kaith it has to be the perfect sculpt. And I haven't seen that sculpt yet.

Much like Kaith, Ka'leth has a special place in my heart, so I can't just throw any old sculpt in the pot and use it. Which seems funny since I wasn't even sure I liked the Xi sculpt when I bought it for Murasaki and she's one of my favorites too.

But Ka'leth and Ke'tchi... well I just gotta do them right.

Yeah, poor Murasaki, I'm her creator. ;)

Yeah, I know that feeling. And Ka'leth is even harder because not only does he have little pointed ears, he's got tan skin. *headdesk* So the chances of finding a sculpt with all of the right qualities is practically nil, which means he'll probably have to have the ears modded on and be dyed tan. What a pain. >_

First you have to find the right face! Oi! That's hard enough. I'll deal with modded ears and dying if I could just find the right face.

Tan is hard to find anyway isn't it? Pointed ears left out of the picture.

It's the yellow mostly. People keep telling me there's a way to compensate for it on today's digitals. I've got to figure out how. And I look at everyone elses stuff and it seems to express what they wanted and I look at mine and think. Oh, darn, I should have maybe taken this instead or Do anything of these pictures really say what I want? Then again, I'm an author at heart so I started the photostory with only a vague idea of what I wanted to do with the tea set.

Once I got the pictures and some words I kinda regretted not getting some other pictures to express the words better.

Thank you for the encouragement! I have a hard time sharing stuff like this since in my opinion it always seems pretty second rate compared to alot of the stuff shared.

Aw..how sad..poor Murasaki.

I don't think your pictures are that bad, hon. ^^; But right now I have to bump up the contrast on my broken ass camera and so everything is all washed out.

I'm hoping to get Jules to email the pics tonight and I can have her day out with the girls posted this week. Man I can't believe K-baby got ranch dressing in her hair and she had to spend the rest of the dinner under my chair.

But soon there will be Murasaki's day out! *cackles* She is so gonna kill me.

Awesome idea! Quilt and soap making day at Luta's! She'll be completely useless, but cute in her helpless way. :)
