As mentioned in my last post, Kaith came on Saturday. I opened the box and the magic I'd hoped occur as it had when I got Murasaki didn't happen. When I pulled Murasaki's head out of the box, I INSTANTLY knew this was the right choice. With Kaith, it was more a case of, hmmm... okay, nice doll

Any time I have a blank doll, it only has a very vague concept until it achieves a faceup. Daphne had no more backstory than "She drives a car!" until Tygati did her face, and now she's just pouring her heart out to me.
As far as size, I think it's much the same -- what you start off with always has a special place. I started with a mini, and while I fully intend to have a range of sizes, if I have to pick one or two to go out with me I will probably always go for a mini. SD's are nice to snuggle, the Yo size I'm finding is fun to sit and fiddle with idly, but minis are always going to be my preference.

Clothes too, but Kiyam is of the opinion that clothes are superfluous on Kaith. ;)
