Name etymology

Something I realized last night, that I don't believe I've never realized before: my first and last name mean "Small Bright-will." Which, given that I'm not the tiniest of guys, and that I can be faily weak in the will-power department, is probably not an overwhelming argument in theory that your name will shape your destiny or whatever. Whatever resource you used may translate your first name as "small", but when we named you roupdad and I used a resource that said it meant "little beloved", which was (and IS) very apt.

Your will doesn't need to be strong to be bright. It could be bright and shining, and still crumble at the first sight of paprika sausage.

Your name's more interesting than my Barrel maker in a dull bit of France. Even before marriage, I was Fence maker in a dull bit of France, so I guess barrels are going up in the world, because at least I can make them indoors.

I was always a little distressed at being a Barrel maker, until I started drinking whisk(e)y and realized that they are the finest of citizens.
