This morning Carrie, Ayesha, and I went to the Istanbul Municipality Office so we could get a student pass for public transportation.  They have little buttons called Akbils (Smart Cards) that are used like gift cards- you put money on it, and it taken off every time you use the metro, ferry, or bus
