[Yagyuu is in a surprisingly good mood today! Not only has his first attempt at mad science breeding experimentation come to fruition in the form of a bright-eyed, bushy-tailed Eevee, but he's got money in his pocket, a city with plenty of facilities at his disposal, and a whole heck of a lot of people he actually knows from home.

And while he may not necessarily be friends with or even fond of all of them, it's still a certain comfort to see them all together like this. It makes it that much easier to forget where they are and what's happened.

(Oh, and there's tennis. Tennis makes everything better.)

At the moment he's keeping to the outskirts of the commotion, preferring to stay on the fringes of the crowd rather than becoming entrenched in it, but it's not hard to pick him out in that bright yellow jersey as he surveys the scene with a hint of a pleased smile on his face.]

[except half of you are wearing bright yellow jerseys. why so much Rikkai--

Oshitari will just be over here a little ways off also on the outskirts of the crowd, eyeing the proceedings with amusement.]

[Okay but there's still only one megane in bright yellow so the point still stands.

And Yagyuu's been looking forward to seeing Oshitari in person, so when he spots him also wallflowering a short distance away, he decides he might as well venture over to say hello.

[oh, fine.

he glances up when he sees Yagyuu approaching.] Ah, Yagyuu-kun.

Hello, Oshitari-kun. Quite a spectacle, isn't it?

It really is. I do believe it's the first time all of us here have been in one place.

[He comes to a stop a fair distance away, leaving a comfortable personal bubble around each of them, but close enough that they can chat without difficulty.]

It's strangely reassuring, seeing all the jerseys. Almost nostalgic, in its way.

Oh, it is. It's like home away from home, almost.

I agree. Did you know there's even an opportunity to play tennis? I know Yukimura-buchou was quite enthusiastic about having a few matches.

I'm sure he is, with finally having a nice selection of opponents to choose from again.

[And thus begins the poking toward the issue.]

Are you thinking of playing him yourself?

Perhaps? He did ask me a while back to play a match with him sometime, but there will be plenty of opportunities later as well, I suspect.

I'm sure there will. And of course, it's not as though there's any shortage of people to have a match with.

[A pause.]

Though I expect you'll be avoiding Niou-kun, won't you?

[and his expression doesn't waver at all.] Is there some reason I should be?

[Not bad, Oshitari-kun. That just earned you some approval from Yagyuu.]

I assume he wouldn't be an opponent that would catch your interest. Unless I'm mistaken?

I suppose that's a fair assessment. His play style can occasionally leave much to be desired.
