ALRIGHT!! The semi-finals, huh? The end was in sight and Ed could just taste victory. Sure, the fights before hand had been pretty tough (more than one could be counted on luck more than his actual skill, but who was keeping track of that?), but his ego was so inflated at the moment that he felt like he could take on just about anyone.

Ed entered the arena, a cocky grin still plastered on his face and staff in hand to wait for his next opponent.

[Ed's wearing his coat and gloves to cover up his automail, but if Xanxus caught sight of him in the locker room or during previous fights, he should know about it.]

Xanxus entered the ring shortly after his opponent did, carrying a pair of very unique-looking handguns in his hands and standing tall. 6'4" tall, to be exact. When he saw who his opponent was, he narrowed his eyes in disgust.

"You're fucking kidding me."

Gosh, he had to fight another brat? This one was shorter than the other brat, too.

Ed mimicked his opponent, narrowing his eyes and looking generally annoyed. "What's your problem?"

He also saw the guns this guy was holding. They couldn't be filled with actual bullets. This place didn't have any, and besides, this wasn't a tournament where the fights were to the death. Still, it looked like this guy had the advantage.

He took his stance.
