[Oh good. The story worked.]

In Goldenrod. We escaped to face the cold here at the National Park.

Have you considered a plea bargain? I'm sure the police would value information on how to find and arrest the real culprits.

At the very least, the ones behind the operation should be stopped.

When you defect from Team Rocket, they give your name to the police so that way there is no escaping the fact that you will eventually be arrested. I believe the sentence is two weeks but it seems a requirement.

So, why not work the system in reverse, and get the ones conducting these experiments arrested as well? You may be able to negotiate for a shorter sentence by helping them catch someone else.

I could try to obtain more information on the matter. Sadly, it would mean getting deeper than I wish to go.

You weren't given anything already? A time and place to show up, or a mailing address for the samples? It seems odd there would be no directions for how they were to obtain the material from you.

The Headquarters has been moved recently to Goldenrod. There is a reason why we left there.

[Mamoru goes quiet. That was most definitely a dodge, and what isn't said can be just as important as what is in a conversation. He should know-- that's a favorite tactic of his, too.

Guard is now up.]

How troubling.

[Just as expected from Rikkaidai. Here he stands, waiting. See that smile on his face?

... well, you couldn't. He doesn't really smile.]
