[Tot and her Rapidash, Akihiko, are walking around the park looking at everything and talking to anyone that wants to while waiting for the race to start.]

Do you have a Pokemon in the races?

[She can understand that having no use for her real father, but the family you make for yourself is much better.]

I'm afraid not. I decided it was best not to.

So, you're just here to watch. Tot's never seen a horse race before, so it should be a lot of fun.

[Louise smiles again.]

Horses are magnificent creatures. I am sure that you will enjoy this.

[Mamoru's been watching for her. Although he's still a bit nervous about seeing her again after everything he told her, they had agreed together. He nods to her in greeting and approaches with Shalena walking beside him.

Shalena, though cautious around strangers, takes the lead ahead of Mamoru and trots to Akihiko for a nuzzle.]

[He's not the only one nervous about this, but she received some rather helpful advice on her last Pokegear broadcast so it's not as bad.

Akihiko happily nuzzles Shalena in greeting; Tot just smiles at Mamoru in return.]

[Mamoru watches the two Rapidash exchanging affectionate greetings before offering a quiet smile to Tot.]

Hi. It's good to see you again; how have you been getting along?

Fine. [Wow this is just kind of awkward isn't it...]

It's really nice to see you again. [Which kind of translates in Tot speak to, thank you for giving me time to decide this myself.]

[It really is. And Mamoru doesn't think it will get less so by keeping the conversation on themselves.

So, after a moment of quiet to show acknowledgment of her response, he looks back at the Rapidash.]

Akihiko looks well. He must be excited to be here.

[Probably a smart route since she's easily distracted.]

Of course he is, Tot wouldn't let anything bad happen to him.

I don't doubt that. He has a good chance of winning, you know.

Really? It doesn't matter if he does or not though, Tot just thought he might have fun running with the other Rapidash.

It's a good attitude to have. I'm not here to win either.

[Shalena whinnies indignantly at that. She feels rather differently :| ]

But Tot thought most people came to win the races; why did you come then?
