Summary: Ruki agrees to babysit. Kyo is terrified by the prospect of this.

Ruki thought that he was able to do anything ranging from doing his own hair to planting flowers in his grandmother's garden; and in grave overestimation of his ablities, he agreed to babysit for a few hours. Changing diapers wasn't exactly his forte, but he was able to do renditions of every Disney fairytale there is (with props).
"Why are you doing this to me," were the first words to come out of Kyo's mouth when he saw Ruki step into the apartment with a baby, a stroller, and a bag full of things he didn't even want to think about. It wasn't even a question. It was a statement, to which Ruki would never fully answer.
"Come on, live a little," Ruki said, as he handed the baby over to Kyo. It immediately started crying, and Kyo made a face. "You're all ooh my life is so dark and no one understands me way too much."
"The last time I was a baby was thirty three years ago, and I'm not quite sure that I want to re-live that experience ever again." The baby tugged on Kyo's hair, quite painfully. "If I have to change diapers, I'm never talking to you again."

Standing at the end of the road, waiting for the green light to go off, Ruki casually kicked the snow, while Kyo was being deafened by the sounds of a crying baby. He suddenly regretted his choice of getting involved with Ruki; if this was an indication of the things that Ruki would get himself into, it probably would be best if he got out as quickly as possible. He swayed from one side to the other in a fruitless attempt to stop the crying.
"You know, if someone photographs us like this, it'll be the end of our careers," Kyo hissed as they walked across the road. They were not spared from the occasional comment of how cute two men look like with a baby. "I'm carrying a baby, you have a hot pink bag, I feel like the world is going to end soon."
They crossed the road, walked into a park, and sat down the furthest away, where no one would be able to recognise them. Kyo showed a faint smile when Ruki took the crying baby out of his hands.
Ruki said, "I think that we should have a baby, too. God knows we keep on trying."
"That's a terrible idea."
"And I could wear a sequined dress and we could say our vows in English."
As Ruki cradled the baby in his arms, Kyo attempted to twist off the head of a teddybear. He said, "Babies are not good for you. Imagine what Kaoru's face would be like at the wedding."
"He would love it, and would immediately begin planning his own outrageously gay wedding with Die."

And much to the amusement of everyone in the room (though there little contribution of amusement from Kyo), Ruki tied pigtails in Kyo's hair, and pressed his lips against Kyo's. For the first time in a very long time, they felt this great sense of unity between them. Especially with a baby sitting between them, tugging on Ruki's necklaces.
Kyo smiled, and then, he said, "You know, I think we might have to dress up your dog next."
