Who: Everyone ever! Except for stinky Rockets. (unless you're here under cover >3>)
Where: Cherrygrove City, relatively close to the town's east exit (aka Route 29)
When: Wed. June 02, mid-morning
Summary: Sora's as set up as he can be for the very first official Training Session!
Rating: Let's go with PG (for pokémon violence and probably swearing--)
Log:
Sora's been working since fairly early in the morning on setting things up for this training session. He was pretty nervous something would go wrong; he'd never done anything like this before, after all. He'd asked to put a "flier" up at the center about it, in case anyone had missed his message over the PokéGear, and he had a sign (the materials for which had put him back a couple hundred P-- he was probably never going to use that marker set again, but at least the sign was sturdy!) set up in an open area relatively close to Route 29. At the very top of the large sign, in bright, easy to read letters, was "TRAINING". Directly underneath were two lists: rules, which he spent a good hour wording right, and trainers.
RULES
1. No fighting. That doesn't mean training, it means no getting mad because you lost to someone, and no trying to beat each other up.
2. Don't force your pokémon! If they're tired, they're tired. Take them to the pokémon center if they're too injured or tired to fight.
3. This is not a competition. The point of this is to help everyone's pokémon get stronger.
4. There are two types of battles going on: teaming up on pairs of wild pokémon, and teaming up against each other. Look at the list to see who would be a good partner!
The list in question is posted right next to the rules; it's the list of people and their pokémon, reordered by type (shut up he thought it was a good idea--) so that people can find matches easier. There's also room on the list to "sign up" since there were a number of people who said they'd do that when they showed up.
With things set up, Sora plops down on the ground near the sign to take a break, Flame settling across his lap and his newest pokémon, a Zubat who shall be henceforth referred to as Chrome (Monochrome!), naps on his head. Hopefully this goes okay.
(ooc: Things to keep in mind: "backdating" is very much encouraged. Not every battle has to be written out, but keep the number of battles "realistic" the same way it's supposed to be when you're training on your own. Sora won't be responding to every post, it's encouraged to just gather partners or whatever. Sora will totally help if a character is too shy to do it on their own, or in general just need help. Do vague battling if you want more of the interaction and less of the actual leveling process, or just find typing out attacks boring! "Prose" is not required, just tag the way you feel comfortable, whether it's prose or action tags like you'd do on the journals normally. I hope everyone enjoys this! And please note, even though he's setting this up for everyone, Sora is sooooo far from being a Pokémon expert.)
