Sorry guys, the gym leaders aren't out just yet (sorry to all of those I mistakenly told otherwise), because we'd like your input on how you'd want this run

I have no idea if this has already been suggested/is in the poll becuase I'm apparently really fucking dumb today, but why not have something where only the elite league and people who have beaten the elite league with pokémon over level 100? Like, the League's reward/badge could let trainers up the level limit to over 100?
I dunno, just throwing that idea out there if it hasn't already.
This is Rune, too lazy to switch accounts! And I already voted with this one, so letting you know who it was.
I'm personally against the idea of Pokémon that are over level 100. I'm sorry for being blunt, but it seems kind of pointless to me to introduce a new "mechanic" to an LJ game that is based on an actual game. Leveling stopping at 100 is standard across all of the generations of Pokémon, and I feel like this random change would be very out of place and inconsistent with the game's setting. That's why I voted for regular teams and elite teams--a battle of skill is more interesting than a battle of levels, for one, and it just...doesn't make sense for the Pokémon to start going higher.
Thanks for the note! And don't worry, bluntness is alright.
The idea of breaking the cap was mostly to keep the adventure 'moving', so to speak, so people weren't stuck at just level 100 and having no place to improve or continue from there. Although, preserving the cap would keep it on par with the games like you suggested. Duly noted. Thank you!

Those are my thoughts on the subject, at least.
