Things you want and things you do

Saw this distinction made in one of the fitness communities between "Outcome goals" and "Process goals."  Nice.

outcome goal: sculpt physique, improve cardiovascular and pulmonary health

process goal: spend ten minutes daily with heart rate up, body moving

motivation, exercise, goals

eh.. the "process goal" that's proposed could be surpassed easily by having a sexual encounter daily. Pure fun, no feeling of work... a much higher level of activity, both set and achieved, while utilizing minimal actual percieved effort. All in all, the best work out ever. ;p

honestly? I've had lots of heart-pounding sex without actually moving my body very much.

Way ahead of ya. Question: Are all the same aerobic benefits achieved if I'm holding my breath?
