I like the last red one and the blue one two pics before very much. I hope you had a lot of fun!

Yes, thanks, been there twice so far and it was fun. But then I'm always happy when I get to take my camera somewhere worthwhile ;)

Those blue flowers look so cool, I think I took like 10 pictures of them alone! I tried the last one in b/w but it looks better in color.

Great pics, some unusual angles and perspectives. I especially like the second one, really has a feel of movement! Also your flowers ones, great tones and movement in the grasses one.
Not sure where you live, but it reminds me of the Rhine which we visited a couple of years ago. Thanks for sharing!

Hey Rosie! :) Good eye, it is indeed the Rhine! I live in Koblenz, where Rhine and Mosel meet.
That one picture is the Fortress Ehrenbreitstein on the opposite side of Koblenz, where a big part of the Buga is held. They repainted it and installed the cable car for visitors to go there from the city.

Where did you go on your travels, may I ask?

We visited a number of lovely places along the Rhine, very much the usual tourist's Christmas markets tour, I suspect! And yes, we visited Koblenz which is why your shot looked familiar. Though it was Sunday and very quiet, and pretty cold ( ... )

Yes, late September/early October the vineyards look quite pretty! I agree, you need to come back and get more wine *g* That would be awesome!

I love the geometric look to some of them - lines etc - and the black and white, and then again....I love the colour of the flowers! Very nice images, thank you.

Yeah, the lines and patterns catch my interest, too :)

I find it's not easy to take pictures of flowers that look interesting. Usually I'm limited by my equipment or other things, but the colors sure make up for that!

Btw, how are you doing? I've been meaning to write you a pm for a long time now! I wanted to tell you I haven't forgotten about our film comm, I still like the idea. And I've bookmarked your latest entries, to check them out when I have time to enjoy them. Life has been pretty chaotic as of late, and doesn't show any signs of getting more quiet again soon >.<

OK, thanks! Yeah, no pressure about *anything* - never feel pressurised in fandom.

I don't think I realised that you'd actually taken the photos so I'm even more impressed than before!

Taking photos is another favorite pastime, of which I have too many *g* But all these visual/artistic hobbies are just so much fun, and do tie in with each other, so I justify it with that ;)

I don't really feel pressured, I just wish I had more time to enjoy fandom atm. Just wanted to let you know I'm still around, and that I haven't forgotten. I will catch up eventually I hope.

Every time I see a good film I think of the comm idea! It could be very cool.

A very colourful portfolio! I like the close ups best, they show a lot of the atmosphere there!
I guess you'll be there more than once, yes?
Or is it too expensive?

I've been twice so far, and will probably go at least once more in fall. It isn't cheap though, €20 a day.
Surprisingly enough, the Buga is doing a whole lot better than expected and the city will actually make money with it. Something at least, after the year of construction sites and traffic hold-ups we had to endure.

Oh yes, the LoM two-timer... ;-)

€20 a day - not as bad as I expected!

Your photos are just glorious, the sense of movement in them and the framing is unusual and eye catching.

I really, really like the bird of prey.

That one is my favorite, too, even though the head is a little bit blurry. Thank you for the nice comment! :D

Every time I take pictures and then play around with them on the pc I can't believe how much fun it is. But those photos sure pile up fast with a digital camera... and then there are tons of paper prints I still haven't put away in albums yet *g*
