They really are jerks.

A Quick Question. Could someone maybe suggest to me some modern authors that might be worth reading? (And by modern I mean recent) I don't want to get myself only reading "classics". I don't want to be one of those people who insist that literature peaked in "insert era here". Those people are jerks.

I got a birthday gift from myself today.

Down in My Heart. That was the one about the conscientious objectors in WWII... I can't find it though. Did I already lend it to you?

i read adverbs by david handler a few months ago. he wrote the series of unfortunate events and adverbs is his attempt at adult fiction. it was interesting. lots of "what is happening" "what is real" and some random not for sure interconectedness of the plots and characters. it was worth reading. any current books i read are generally from the young adult section.

i'll try to get on the ball and mail you that book i got for you.

oh, and i had another weird dream about you. this time you got in trouble for some tests scores or school grades. and your mom was totally freaking out at me about it so i went down in this creepy basement place to talk to you...
