I watched The Thin Man several days ago. It's a good film, filled with snappy banter and heavy boozing. And I mean, really, really heavy. People seemed to drink more back then.

I picked up the new mountain goats album, and I've been listening to it all day. San Bernadino is a great song. Lovecraft in Brooklyn, not so much.

I cooked stew today. I read
