Today was a pretty good monday. I treasure those mondays that I can enjoy, because otherwise, what a horrible day. I don't even mind school that much right now! WOW. I love biology. how does transcendentalism fit into badass scientists and shameful history?

i know it'll be immensly difficult to see katie off, and i wish i could be there for you, but unfortunately i live so stinkin far away... 4 months seems like a long time, but you'll be so preoccupied with your hecticly busy life that it'll be over before you know it. besides, the longer she's gone just makes her returning that much more sweet. just remember how amazing an opportunity this is for katie, and how awesome it is that she took it.

Transcendentalism is what we're doing in English. Those were all the things that are making me like school right now. It seems that this year it's a rare occasion when I'm actually engaged in what we're learning, so that's huge. Of course I'm totally pumped for Katie's amazing opportunity! I'm just as excited/proud of her as I am sad that she's leaving.
