Week 34, Friday afternoon - outside of the library

Apr 15, 2005 10:48

Alexi sits in the grass under one of the trees just outside the library. It is obvious he is taking advantage of the nice weather as it begins to warm up outside. In one hand is his History class text book, and the other holds an apple that he occasionally takes a bite out of.

Rita-Anne walks up to the tree with a large bundle of books in her hand. She sits down on the other side of the tree (opposite side of Alexi) and opens her book. After a few moments, she lets out a large, theatrical sigh.

Alexi glances up as Rita-Anne makes her way over to the tree he is under. When she makes her large, theatrical sigh Alexi looks around the tree at Rita-Anne. "Is your book being as boring as mine?"

"Yes," Rita-Anne said. She handed over the book to Alexi: The Adventures of Sinbad.

Used as a book-mark, however, is the beginnings of an essay for basic cantrips classes. The only thing written on the paper is the coure code, and the title. "Magic Wands: Need They Have Points? A study of mystic tools in modern society."

(The other books beside her are relavent to the essay.)

Alexi smiles, "Ah, I am seeing problem. Boring book is interfering with much more exciting homework."

"Terry would never point out that there are rules for both," Rita-Anne said. She stopped her part of the attack, and leaned up against the tree again. "I just wish I knew what half of them are..." She sounds wistful.
