Who is this woman that I wrote off last season as a completely irredeemable sociopath and now I want nothing more than to pull into a hug and be her friend because, my god, she needs a friend to love her so very badly?

Every time you write Regina, it just breaks my heart. I was all prepared to fully hate her as the villian, and now I desperately want her to find her connection to the others and for Emma to see the good person buried under all the fear and anger and for Regina to get her happy ending.

Damn...you are such a good writer.

LOL. Yep. I keep telling people who are just starting the series..."Just keep watching...just keep watching..." Everyone is so sure they have already gotten their handle on Regina by most of the way through season one, but I just sit and wait, because inevitably, she will get under your skin and break your heart.

Very glad you enjoy my Regina, thank you. She is so endlessly fascinating and beautiful to write, I am so glad to have found her.

Oh, that was just lovely!

I particularly loved the imagery and contrast here: Daniel's hair blew in the light wind, long bangs ruffling across his brow. His eyes were grey-blue. Like the blur of water-sky from the Maine coastline. He was all light and softness where Regina was all flash and contrast.

Beautiful job with a difficult prompt! Looking forward to your other bingo fics! :) This show is such a goldmine for fanfic...
