::grin:: Jane Espenson is BRILIANT. All her eps are golden. The writing really has been rather amazing, overall. There has been so much of what I would call "fanfic on screen." It's not perfect, of course, but far better than anything else I've seen in years.

Oh, I have really struggled with this. Obviously, Regina is the center of my fannish universe, and you know I need a 'ship for my focal character as my lens through which I explore that character's depths (in a much less porny way than that sounded...most of the time *g*). I was really getting into some of the dark and twisted and beautifully written Regina/Graham or Queen/Huntsman in the early days of the fandom (in fact, the Random WIP Quote in my sidebar is from a partially written Regina/Huntsman of my own), but then Regina went and killed him in only the 7th episode.::headdesk:: So much for that plan
